The petition was transferred to CSC from MSC on March 10, 2006. same was received by CSC March 15, 2006 and was approved on March 21, 2006, without interview. ONly 2 months and 3 days since USCIS receipt.
The Welcome to USA letter arrived April 1, 2006 dated March 28 and it states that the GC should be received by me within 3 weeks from receipt thereof. I was a little apprehensive when 3 weeks passed and I haven't got the GC yet so I called USCIS on Apr21. I was advised that it was too early for me to call as it has not been 30 days yet since they have mailed me a notice on April 6. I haven't received any Apr6 notice but I believe that although my call was untimely, it helped in having them processed and sent me my GC. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
