Embassy Review : |
I apologize, but I didn’t get all the details as of yet my fiancé is pretty busy in Ghana. But I thought I would share what my fiancé told me and update my review in the near future. My honey said he got there around 6:00am in the morning. He said they began letting people inside around 7:30am. The total time he was at the embassy was a total of about 3 ½ -4 hours. He said that he was treated well and that everything went smooth. He said he paid the fee of $240 and waited to be interviewed. He said it was a Caucasian man who interviewed him. He said that the man was surprisingly VERY NICE. The interviewer only asked him about 7 questions. The man asked such questions as: How did we meet? What type of work did I do for a living? What are our future plans together? Why did he choose to marry an American woman? Where do I live? Have we met in person? Then he asked a question relating to my religious background. He wanted to know was I born in into my religion. He asked was it against the religion for me to visit him without being married.
Well although they didn’t grant the Visa, I’m happy they didn’t give my honey a hard time. He said they gave most of the documents back. I know he said that they kept the police certificate. I’m sure there were other documents that they kept, but I just didn’t ask him yet. Any who, he said they gave him a 2nd appointment to return to the embassy the 2nd week in August, to submit several documents that we failed to submit. So, I shall PATIENTLY wait.
Hopefully this information was helpful. As soon as I get some more details from the interview, I will update my review. So check back soon.
Thanks,
BA NANA’S

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
