Event Description
Review Date : March 26, 2012
Embassy Review : Ok ...let me tell you my background a litle:
Enter US on Visa Waiver Program from Argentina back in the year 2000.
I had a fight with my x wife and was arrested for a misdermeanor on 2003 (case was dismissed)
I had an overstay of almost 12 years .

We went to our AOS interview in West palm Beach . Everything went wonderful with the exception that our lawyer took our money and never showed up .I ended up disputing the charge on my cc.
We went in and out in less than 30 minutes.
Our officer was very friendly and we have a feeling that the case was already approved before even getting into her office.
We signed a release for the no- show lawyer and the interview started.
She asked for i94 ,arrest dismissal and divorce papers.
Asked only one question : How you guys meet.?
After my answer , the officer stated that my case was a simple one and that i was approved .Never looked at any of my pics.
She took my Employment Authorization (i received it just the day before the interview)and my i94.
Got my passport and gave me a i551 seal stating that my GC should get on the mail in a few weeks javascript:emoticon('')

A word of advice : DO NOT hire a lawyer unless your case is really complicated or you are under deportation procedures. Dont waste your money like i did.
Also , my process was over in less than 2 1/2 months....so Employment Auth card is also a waste.

I hope your interview goes well as mine did .... Good luck!javascript:emoticon('')

Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
