Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : No harrasment- everyone was very friendly. One person took care of my visa while another put together the import papers for my car. I was very disappointed that I couldn't get a temp work auth, especially since I had phone a month prior to ensure I would be able to get a stamp.

Consulate Review: Vancouver, Canada
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 23, 2005
Embassy Review : It really was easy! Our appointment was for 10, but we showed up an hour beforehand, and the security guards (who were all as nice as could be) said, "I wish all K1 visas were here so early!" It takes a while to get through the 2 security checkpoints.
Rating : Very Good

Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : June 7, 2006
Embassy Review : Piece of cake! Didn't submit a new vaccination worksheet (just submitted the one from the Vancouver medical); wasn't asked for W2's; didn't want to see scrapbooks/photo albums, only had to produce joint financial documents. We were in and out in 5 minutes!
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
