Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines

Event Description

Embassy Review : The interview process was smooth and the interviewers were very cordial and respectful. They asked only the standard questions and there were no surprises except...

One problem... Our documents did not include a I-864A. We had never heard of the document before and neither had our attorney. Yes, I should haven't hired him.

Once this document is received there is no need for a second interview.

POE Review: Atlanta
Event Description
Entry Date : 2012-12-23
Embassy Review : It was an absolute wonderful experience! The new international terminal in Atlanta is beautiful and the staff was efficient and very professional.

We were called out of the standard line from those returning to the US from travel and told to wait in line with other immigrants. After about 15 min. We were called to a window where our documents were reviewed and a the lady said " Welcome to the United Stated" Easy as pie. We were then directed to the baggage claim area where were were treated like dignitaries. A nice gentleman picked up our bags for us and directed us to the family greeting area. The man was so nice that he took our photo with the family and friends waiting there and then proceeded to take out bags to the car for us. I was very proud that my wife's first experience here was such a positive one. I will never forget those words "Welcome to the United States"

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
