Embassy Review : Well i had a 9:30 appointment and i reached the embassy at about 15 or 20 minutes after 9. My boo was there with me and that made me feel a little more comfortable..First thing as we approach the embassy a man in green asked for the ds-156, ds-157 ds-156k (in duplicates), passport pictures and passport. Note: Your fiance(e) can go in with you. Unfortunately my boo didnt thats a long story. We were sent in. Did security check and was sent striaght inside passed alot of people on the outside waiting for interview for visitor visa. When i went inside a lady at a front desk asked for my passport and asked to see my documents which the guy on the outside in green looked at (he stapled my photo to them) and then she gave me a yellow paper and told me to write my passport number on it, gave me a number(A148) and told me to go sit on the right hand side of the embassy. It wasnt so full so i sat and wait for my number to come up on the screen to be called. I was finally called to widow 6 and a white lady asked for my documents (ds-156, ds-156k, ds-157, 1-134, recent tax returns & w2, no-inpediment, declaration of intent, passport pics, pay stubs, job letter) , asked me if i have ever been to the USA (no) and then she took my fingerprint and then told me to have a seat and wait for my number to be called again. I waited for about 2-3 Hours....i was the last one to be called to a widow (#9) ('')and i got a white male looking like hes in his mid 30..these are some of the questions he asked (may not have all the questions and in no particular order)
1 who is the petitioner
2 how did we meet (asked more than once)
3 how many times did he come and when was the last time
4 what type of job he does (asked more than once)
5 his is parents american citizens
6 what type of job i want to do in the US
Then he ask to see photos. Showed him and he ask some questions based on them
He then asked to see more evidence (showed him western union receipts, receipts from when he send me credit, our engagement ring receipt, our engagement party invitation, call record from digicel. He asked me again so what you gonna do for job in the US and i told him and he was like well i guess you will be doing ****** in the US right there and then i know i was approved i was so overwhelmed i couldnt even find my passport when he asked for it ('')...he gave me a lil piece of paper and told me to go pay DHL ('') ('') ('') ('') ('')....I am super happy and glad this part is over. I want to thank everyone for the support....i love you all
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
