Me and my fiance used the pedestrian crossing through Tijuana/San Ysidro. The process took about hour and a half since they had no idea how to process it. Thank God we were out of there and everything turned out great. |

Embassy Review : |
We had our interview scheduled at 9:55am, we got there a few minutes before. Went through security pretty quick. We got to the waiting room and there wasn´t a lot of people just a one person waiting for a naturalization interview. We waited like about 10 minutes before they called us in. My husband´s name was called by a young women she was very nice and spoke to us in spanish. The whole interview was conducted in spanish which was nice because my husband doesn´t speak english. Then she walked us to her cubicle, her name was Daisy. She swore us in and said she was gonna ask my husband a few questions and then she wanted to talk about our marriage. She asked my husband all his general information, which was on the form we had sent in...she was checking that everything was correct. The only documents she asked for were my naturalization certificate, his birth certificate, our daughter´s birthcertificate, our marriage license After that she said if we had any pictures, so we showed her all our pictures. She asked when did we meet and where, how many times we saw each other, why did we decided to get married. When we got engaged, and that was about it. She explained to us about the condition of his green card and when we were supposed to get it in the mail. She then said congratulations and walked us out of the cubicle...so it was so so easy. Better that what I expected. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
