Embassy Review : This forum has really helped me a lot - in terms of preparation, learning from other peoples' experience and psyching yourself up on what to expect and not to expect. Keep up the good work.

Our interview went on really smooth. We arrived about an hour early for the 10am Appt. We were actually called in around 9AM, since there was a cancellation/changes in the IO schedule.

We prepared, as was written on the appointment letter, all that was enumerated. No matter if we submitted all the documents or not - everyone who has received such letter MUST bring ALL those documents (Originals & Copies) - no ifs/no buts. If you want your interview to run smooth - PREPARE IN ADVANCE. If you have nothing to hide - there is nothing to worry about. IO's are just doing their job and we really just to give credit were credit is due. Maybe for some it may not have resulted positively - but do not give up and hang in there.

Our interview lasted for about 15-20 minutes - anything that the IO asked - we just handed over. She asked questions, we responded politely. The night before, I spoke to my lawyer (who I did not asked to come to save the dough) and she said that some policy changes were made previously - they may not give you an approval right away as they may have to ask a supervisor to approve. So do not worry if they did not approve you on the spot, as long as all your paperworks are in order and you were not given a piece of RFE paper - then you are good to go.

I may have a positive outcome and I might also be lucky. Just remember, if you are prepared, truthful and organize - there is absolutely nothing to worry about.

WE ARE APPROVED....YAY
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
