OK so here we go... after exactly 8 months since Vermont received our petition, I had my interview finished an hour ago.
My interview time was 1 pm so I got there at 12:40. Went through the security check, left my phone and my keys in the locker and went to the main building for my interview. Got my ticket which was of no use as they were calling us by names but either way the security guy asks you to take one...
I sat down and after around 40 minutes maybe (had no watch on me but felt like forever) I was called to the window no 4 and asked for all the paperwork:
Birth Cert + translation
Police cert
I - 134, Letter from employer, Pay stubs
DS156 x 2
Pasport Photo x 2
DS156K
My passport
My medical (without the x ray)
Self addressed envelope with a stamp for €12.5
I have been given a receipt and asked to go to window no 5 to pay €204 visa fee. Then I have been asked to sit down. The waiting was really long as there was some drama going on at one of the interview windows as one lady wanted to start a business in the US and she said sth to the officer and was almost cancelled the visa. Anyway at around 3:30 I have been called to window no 3 for an interview.
And here is where it started being really unpleasant, the way I was called sounded sth like: "XX this is the last call or I move on to another person". I never heard the lady calling my name before and she said she called me twice,I believe her microphone didn't work so I mentioned that when I got there. I got a reply: "can you hear me now??? I pressed the exact same button when I called you twice before". Looks like there was no way for her to accept the microphone didn't work... ok let's move forward, I have been asked to raise my hand and say I am telling the truth, then I have been asked the following questions:
Is this our first marriage
Do we have kids
Has my fiance been living in Ireland
Where did we meet
When did we meet
How many times he visited me
How many times I visited him
When was he born ( I said 1980 and the lady heard 1990 so I repeated 1980 and she said not to shout to her which I didn't but ok, I apologiesed)
Was he born in the USA
When was the last time we met and for how long.
That's all , no proof , no pictures...
She cancelled my tourist visa since I am an immigrant now and said that based on my interview , my visa is approved, although she will know for sure after they check my finger prints and I should expect it in a post in a few days... I am assuming then the visa is granted!
All in all I am happy with the result but this interview has left a bitter taste in my mouth...
Good luck to everyone

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
