Consulate Review: Juarez, Mexico
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 25, 2012
Embassy Review : My husband left Puerto vallarta on sunday night on bus to Guadalajara and too a plane (vivaairbus) to Cd Juarez arriving at 10am. He rushed to the clinic to get his exam done but they asked if he had been there b4 and since he had they asked for the previous results. But since he had been there since 8 years ago we did not have the results. Then they asked which clinic he whent to but he could not remmember. They searched there data base and could not find any record of him been there b4. So he was told to go back at 2pm and see what will happen. When he returned he was told they will not be able to do the exam on him that day and to come back the next day . The next day he arrived at the clinic at 5:30 am and there were about 15 people inside. Once they call you they take a picture and then on to the exam. He got 3 vaccines, eye site, drew blood and a urine test. He paid $5000 pesos total. Then he was sent to the pshycologist. His results were not in until the next morning. He showd up at the consulate meeting place at 7:30 since his intreview was at 8:15am and his med results were not in yet he was told to come back as soon as he gets them in. But b4 that they checked his papers (hoja de cita, ds-260 and fingerprints)they stamped it and he went on his way. He went to the clinic and his results were in at 9am. by 9:15 he was back to the consulate. He finaly had his intreview at about 3pm and that took about 3minutes he was asked; Who is your petitioner? Name of the petioner? How many children ? ask his parents names? Have you aver been in the US b4? Have you ever been in Jail? then he said congratulaion your visa was approved! You will recieve your visa via DHL with in 30 days. He recived his visa 2days later.
He stayed at the hotel city Junior its okay. The location is great. The room was small but clean and comfy!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
