Comments : The consulate officer who interviewed us had a very cold and emotionless demeanor. She wouldn't laugh or even smile when my wife or I made a joke or small talk to lighten the mood. She seemed to have no regard for any of the evidence we provided. Her demeanor seemed to be the same for everybody there that day. I don't think she is suited for her job. We got a notice for a second interview. I think the reason was because I had used a PO BOX for almost everything, instead of my home address. (When you move it's easy because you don't have to deal with the hassle of changing your address for the DMV, insurance companies, etc.)

Our second interview was a stokes interview. It was very intense. They questioned us individually while filming us. It went well though. My wife and my answers matched up. They didn't give us a definite answer after the interview, but later that day we checked online and it as approved!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
