Horrible, they took forever, called us in for a second interview only to then tell us they didn't know why we were there. They approved our application just days before we would have been eligible for the 10 year greencard rather than the 2 year conditional one. To top it off they put the wrong date on the greencard they sent us so it was already expired when we got it. |

The officer asked her four questions:
1. How did we meet?
thru the internet
2. Has he been to China?
twice, and we also met in Japan for a vacation.
3. What does he do?
he is an aircraft engineer
4. Have you ever been to America?
no, never
Congratulations, we are going to approve you. We will return your passport with the visa as soon as possible.
She said that the visa officer never even asked to see our pictures or any of the other proof she brought.
She said the whole interview lasted about 30 seconds and she called me at 10am China time to tell me she was finished. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
