Consulate Review: Tokyo, Japan Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : November 28, 2011 Embassy Review : My appointment was 8:30 AM but I arrived one hour earlier. I was 2nd in line. The interview was very smooth and easy. The CO didn't ask for any evidence nor look at the supporting documents of my fiance's affidavit of support. We had my fiance's dad as a co-sponsor though and we submitted his affidavit of support beforehand. Questions asked were as follows: 1. What is your name? 2. Where is your fiance from? 3. You're in Japan and your fiance is from Oklahoma, how did you know each other? 4. What happened after you met him in that video game? 5. When did you meet him in person? 6. Did he come to Japan? 7. How long have you been in Japan? 8. Have you been to the United States? 9. Have you ever been married before? 10. Has your fiance been married before? 11. What are you doing in Japan? 12. What does your fiance do? 13. What is your job? 14. When do you plan to get married? 15. What will you do after you and your fiance get married? Rating : Very Good
