It was a simple interview that lasted no more than 10 minutes. The consular officer was nice and friendly. The questions were pretty basic: fiance's family, his work, his residence. The wait was quite long though, approximately 2.5 hrs. |

It was very easy. The officer asked just a question about where I would live/stay in the US and stamped the passport. It took less than 5 min. |

The interview was just a formal procedure of Q&A. The officer basically went through the list of questions in the application and chose two or three of them to ask. She let us know that the sealed package hadn't been forwarded to USCIS by the airport border control so she would mark the case as "pending for related documents". Yet the USCIS web site showed the approval message five days after the interview and the green card arrived another 5 days later. |

Nice and friendly staff. Interview went smoothly with simple, basic questions about fiance's information (family, work, residence). The wait was quite long, approximately 2.5 hrs. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
