Event Description

Embassy Review : This is what happened on the day of my interview,My appointment was 7:30am ...I got to the US embassy 6:40am ,when i got there the security personals on duty asked us to wait under a tree to wait for them to call us ...so exactly 7:00am they asked us to form a queue,,,,, so thinking it will be first come first serve so i rush to get a better place to stand on the queue ....a lady at the entrance checked my appointment letter and asked me to get to the next door when i entered the was heavy security present including Ghana Police so the check on me to see if i have any device on me ...so they show me another door which lead me to the main consulate hall ....so when i got there the ladies at the reception took my appointment letter and asked me to have a seat .....so a guy call me to window 1 to submit all my documents and the man there was sooo nice to me he got all my document and i saw him too offloading a package which i believe the one my fiancee send to the USCIS to a folder ..then he asked me to pay my visa fee which is $240 to a cashier on my right hand side and i did that and the cashier gave me a receipt and she told me to have my seat ....so within 30mins time the guy at window 1 called me again to take my figure print .....so i waited for 3 good hours before i heard a white lady mentioned my name to come to window 4 and i like the way she sound my surname ...and he asked me to take an oath which i did...and she took a figure print of my middle figure ....then she started with the interview ..where did i meet my fiancee...the time she visited me and the time she left...what work does she do......is she married before.....what work do i do.....and all the answers i will give to her she will be computing it ...so she brought a blue chit out and she was writing on it and she told me not to make any travel arrangement till i have my visa in hand...and i checked on the chit and the date to pick was 19th October ....wooooow God has been sooo good to me and also the good people of VJ i really learned alot from vj which made this interview process with ease ...
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
