Consulate Review: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Review Topic: General Review
Event Description
Review Date : March 27, 2013
Embassy Review : Interview was around 20 minutes long. Fabio had to raise his right hand and swear to tell the truth. We were only asked about our 20+ year history (how we met, how long we dated originally, why we broke up, why we lost touch and how we reconnected). We were asked if we had brought any more picturesthat they did not already have and we did bring more so we showed them to the interviewer. So after looking at everything, the interviewer excused himself saying he would be right back and took our file with him. Fabio and myself were thinking if sometbing was wrong. After a couple of minutes the guy came back and said we were approved. The gentleman we dealt with was very polite and the over all experience was better then expected. Only negative thing is, be prepared to wait awhile when you enter the embassy...you may be there for hours before you have your interview.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
