Consulate Review: Nigeria Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Event Description Review Date : October 10, 2011 Embassy Review : My husbands interview began at 7am but he got there about 5:30. My Father in law said there had to be atleast 100 people there but not sure of the reasons. My husband was called in around 8am to give his passport/physical and to correct a paper that I sent to NVC. At that point he sat and waited for the next 4hours. At 12:00 he was called by a young man who asked HOW WE MET WHY I HAD NOT BEEN BACK TO NIGERIA AGAIN HOW OFTEN HE SPEAKS TO MY CHILDREN (OUR) ASKED FOR TAX FORMS ASKED FOR PHONE RECORDS ASKED FOR MESSENGER/SKYPE RECORDS ASKED TO SEE PICUTURES(PLEASE HAVE PICS WITH OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS/FRIENDS NOT JUST YOU TWO) The man went to the back...came back and said Congradulations He said it wasn't very stressful...just make sure you are calm and honest.
