Embassy Review : |
My fiance had an interview on the 9th of July. Appointment time was at 7:30am but he went there about an hour early, was the 3rd person in line. Went through security check point, fingerprint, and then at window 6 a Thai lady (wasn't friendly) would take all the proofs and documents, put them in order, and asked a couple questions. Later told my fiance to go to the post office across the embassy to get a receipt of self addressed postage parcel (the post office wasn't open so he had to wait for about 30-45min?.) He came back to the embassy and later gave the receipt to the lady. About 30 minutes later a male officer called out his name, 1st time he wasn't sure so he listened for the 2nd time. It was window number 8? ( i forgot) Here's how the conversation kinda went, not exactly in order I guess...
CO: Koon pood pasa arai pen bung? (what languages can you speak?)
CO: Oh English? okay good. How did you and your fiancee meet?
CO: Million of people on facebook, how did she find you?
CO:What's the date you added each other on facebook?
CO: how do you communicate?
CO: you talk on the phone too right? (quickly looking through the proofs of phone calls a few hundred pages, and hundreds screen shots of windows live messenger and gtalk )
CO: What's your fiancee's name?
CO:where does she live?
CO: Why were you in Australia?
CO: Why did your boss send you there?
CO: You were in Australia for 2 years?
CO: "nodded" What school did your fiancee go to?
CO: What was her major?
CO: Why did she quit?
CO: "looking at our 13 photos" what are the dates of these pictures were taken?
CO: where did she stay when she came to Thailand?
CO: Who paid for the trips?
CO: "put up picture from Karnchanaburi" Where is it taken?
CO: "put up picture from Chiang Mai." Is it from Chiang Mai?
CO:What's your fiancee DOB?
CO: how old is she?
CO: You're 29 right?
CO: Do you plan to have any children?
CO: "Turned off his speaker. On the phone." (my fiance couldn't here him) "A min later turned on the speaker" I'm sorry, we can't issue your visa today. You did very good but the only problem is we need a fingerprint clearance from Australia not just the name check. As soon as you get your fingerprint clearance, mail it in w/ your passport. (handed back proofs and some of the original documents)
CO: "smiled" Yes. But don't forget to include your passport.
Fiance left the embassy around 9am?

Embassy Review : |
Fiance was standing at Visitor/Immigration line holding his "do not open" packet, the security/airport police saw him and told him to go line up at people w/ disability? He was standing there for almost 40 min. Then they took his packet, stamped and check his luggage, it took about 5-10 min? only asked "what's your fiancee's name and is she picking you up?" |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
