Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 17, 2011
Embassy Review : First and foremost I must give all praise and honor to my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, without Him none of this will be possible. I have two interviews, the first one goes like this: I arrived at the embassy at 6 a.m. for a 7 a.m. interview on the 27th July 2011 there were people lined up already and promptly at 6:45 they started allowing people through the gate,I went through security, showed my interview letter and gave my medical results ...
The CO asked the following questions
-Who is petitioning for you?
-Where does she live? the address?
-When did she traveled?
-What does she do for work?
-what is her nature of her job?
-What does she do for work?
-What’s the name of her company?
-How many siblings does she have?
-What does she (her brother) do for work?
-What’s the name of her company?
- when did u get married?
-how did you proposed?
-How many people attend your wedding?
-Did you do any reception?
-He asked for pictures?
- How do you communicate?
-He asked for call records?
oops! there was no logo in some the print outs.
He said he wont give my visa because of the logo. He gave me white paper that i was denied based on insufficient documents (22I g). He said i should contact the embassy if am ready for the second interview.
The second interview:
I contacted the embassy and they scheduled my appointment after two weeks for 4th October 2011.I got all the necessary documents(call logs with logos, rebtell records, Facebook chats,e-mail etc.) The second interview was scheduled for 1:00pm, i arrived at 12:00noon, i was the first person to be interviewed that day.The same CO, He said what did I have for him today and i gave him all the documents, He went through it and type something in the computer and he approved my visa. The CO then gave him the white slip and circled the address where i should pick up my visa and of course not to make travel plans until i had the visa in my hand.

Meanwhile, thanks for all the contributors in this forum and the author of this incredible website/forum that has made the life of most people who are sincere much easy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
