I was originally given a November 7th interview date to my dismay (having received packet 4 on Friday October 7th). I had arranged medical upon receiving packet 3 which took place on October 4th. I sent an email (October 11th) explaining I had everything and asking if the date be moved forward. Received a phone call later that day and they offered me October 13th as they had a cancellation = Happy Out! |

Make sure you have all your documents:
Passport
DS-156 x2 with 2x pictures (50mm by 50mm)
DS-156K (I almost got pulled up on this but thankfully found it in my packets!)
Birth Certificate
Police Clearance Certificate
I-134 Affidavit of Support
Evidence of relationship (pictures, flight details etc)
$350 - They seem to accept cash in dollars/euros and credit card even though they explicitly ask for bank draft on the document.
Self Addressed Envelope (12"x14") with 8e stamps on it
Keys, Phone, Tech stuff etc will be put into a locker on your way in.
I got in at 1pm. First guy took my documents at 1.30ish?? Then I had an interview asking about my relationship at 3pm.
People are nice. Just make sure to absolutely have everything. That's all they care about - fulfilling their requirements. You will not explain your way to a visa. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
