POE Review: JFK Event Description Entry Date : 2013-05-11 Embassy Review : Well, my husband and I entered together at the JFK airport from Mexico. I being a US citizen did not have any issues with customs, but I waited forever for my husband to be allowed to leave this room in the wall he had to go into. The worst part was I was with our dog, who would not stop barking to be let out of her cage! I waited nearly 45 minutes for him, and he was finally allowed to go. Not really sure what they did in the room, but in the end we don't know if they handed him the I-94, or if we lost it. They never stapled it into his passport, but luckily I was able to find out this is now available electronically. Overall, wish I could have flown into Newark, but still not too bad. Harassment Level : Low
