Embassy Review : My I-130 was sent here after being at CSC for almost 5 months. The reason? They wanted to schedule me for an interview before they approved the i-130 because my husband was in removal proceedings when we got married. Fair enough.

I went to a total of 3 infopasses here. Within 5 days of the first one I received an RFE after completing a service request form. I returned the evidence requested the very next day. After not hearing anything for almost 3 months I made another infopass (I won't get into the 2nd one as it didn't help me at all) for the day after the deadline for evidence submission. By some stroke of luck my number was called by the officer adjudicating my case. He was a HUGE help and took my evidence, by hand, right then and there as the evidence STILL had not hit my file (after almost 3 months time!!!). He said he'd work on our file later that day or the following business day. Sure enough he kept his word! We were approved on a Monday after a Friday infopass, w/o an interview!
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
