POE Review: San Juan
Event Description
Entry Date : 2012-11-01
Embassy Review : Andre's entry to the US was a breeze. We were moving back and had a cat and dog as well as his top secret packet for inspection along with 6 suitcases. Our total time was about 40 minutes from when we reached the front of the initial line. He was sent to the secondary inspection area for fingerprints and inspection of his documents. Once it was completed he was welcomed to the US and told to watch the mail for his green card. They said that the processing center had been backed up and it could take up to 2 months but he shouldn't worry; he wad still legal. Happily the green card arrived 10 days after we did!

Even ad a US citizen, it was one of the easiest entry experiences I've had!
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
