Event Description

Embassy Review : Our interview day started off very stressful when the train that my finace was taking to the appointment had electrical problems and never made it to connection point. She was able to contact a friend and eventually got the interview but almost an hour and a half late. She was very worried that they would make her reschedule but they were understanding and allowed her to submit the papers and asked her to return after lunch for the interview. She returned at the assigned time and had to wait an about an hour longer to meet with the interviewer. She said he was very kind and was asking very appropriate questions regarding our relationship. The interview was a pleasant conversation for her. He was making her feel very comfortable and telling her things that she should visit and places she will like once she is in the US. She said the entire interview lasted less than an hour and at the end, he tells her that everything looks good and she should be recieving her packet in the mail in just a few days. I think overall that the interview went well and they are very considerate of the situation.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
