we hired an immigration lawyer. it's worth everything we paid ($1000),never received any paperwork or packet from the embassy.made an interview appt as soon as we got our MNL#. thank God our lawyer prepared all docs way ahead.interview was a breeze, not even spend 5 mins with the blonde consul. |

Embassy Review : |
there was a long line outside at the embassy started around 0400 and it was pouring heavy rain. wished i did not have to get in line this early but my appointment was 0645. the staff were nice, accomodating and organized. final session with the american lady consul lasted less than 5 mins, asked me a few personal questions, wanted to know when am i getting married, looked at family pictures then she said " you're approved, good luck!",short and sweet. total processing time from filing I-129 to interview was about 4 1/2 months.i never received any instructions or packet from the embassy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
