Local US CIS Office Review: Milwaukee WI Review Topic: cis_topic Event Description Review Date : August 26, 2013 Embassy Review : I didn't notice that I never wrote a review. I hope I still remember things well enough. Our interview went very well. We didn't have to wait too long (had the appointment early in the morning). The officer was extremely friendly. It didn't feel like we were being 'interrogated' more like a friendly conversation. He noted that he had never seen a visa from Iceland before (which I had in my passport), and asked questions about Icelandic (which I taught). Turned out that he had studied linguistics and was just personally interested in the language He quickly looked at our photo albums (commented on some pictures of us in disco outfit and started chatting about disco music), asked some basic questions... I think the interview didn't take more than 20 minutes or so. I got approval notice the same day (if I remember correctly). Harassment Level : Very Good
