Event Description
Review Date : November 23, 2011
Embassy Review : my appointment is 6:30am and I arrived there at 5:45 am. i just followed the line for immigrant/fiance visa.

at 6am, they let us get inside. but before that they will first checked the passport (put a sticker on it and sealed in a plastic bag), appointment letter and DS Forms and they will stapled it together then they will give it back to you..

then they instructed me to enter at the 3rd door.they checked my bag and things thru a scanner and make it sure that you're not bringing gadgets, foods, perfume, deadly weapons. candies are allowed. good thing i brought a lot of candies.. haha..

then i passed thru a very heavy metal door, lol, presented my stapled documents, and then they gave me my no. and gave back my docs and instructed to drop it on window 39. by the way, my lucky no.is 6035..

i went in the new building, they checked again my things then i dropped my docs at window 39. i sit for a while.. at 6:30 am, my no.flashed and i went to window 56.. a filipina interviewed me.. she asked me a lot of questions like: my name, address, cellphone no, age (she can't believed that i'm already 23 cause i know i'm cute, lol), my petitioner's work and how did we met each other, how long we're into a rel.now and i answered her back 2 years, 11 mos. and 5 days to be exact ma'am.. she laughed at my ans.haha..she got my BC, CENOMAR, NBI CLEARANCE, MY FIANCE'S ITR, W-2, I-134. she looked for our pictures that i put in a photo album that i made and the pictures that i separate in case that my photo album can't pass thru in their slot. then she asked me to sit again and wait for my no.to be flash for finger scanning..

after a while, i went to window 41 for the finger scanning..

after 2 hours of waiting, my no.flashed on the queuing board.. at the back of my mind, oh my! this is it!!! interview with the consul..
i went to window 60. he looks so "MASUNGIT"... but when i greeted him with a smile, he smiled also at me and asked if how am i doing.. he just asked for my fiance's work and place of work, how did we met, does me or my fiance had been married before and has children. then with a smile, he said, CONGRATULATIONS AND BEST WISHES! YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED! I replied, thank you so much sir! then he smiled and said just sit and wait for your no.to be flash for the delivery of my visa!

at last, at window 71, the guy said that i could go home now and wait for my visa to be deliver at home! yipee!!

thank you so much Lord Jehovah!!!

*always give a consul a SMILE :D

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
