Flight went smoothly he was suppose to be on economic class but for some reason they put him on business class with a good service :) this was first time ever he got this kind of service lol, but he was late for his connecting flight to minneapolis. It took him one and a half hour to wait in the line and when it's his turn they sent him to a room and took his fingerprint took that big envelope and stamp on the I-9 and passport and remind him to get marry within 90 days. |

Embassy Review : |
Im writing on behalf of my fiance
He arrive at the embassy at 7:30 appointment is 8:00am, was in line with the non immigrant folks. They all finally went in and went thru the security check and he said because of his belt it was beeping so loud. He than went with a group of non immigrant applicants and they were giving a number his was number 8. He also mention that there was so many people today and it was so busy. He went to the receptionist lady and she ask him for his medical first she told him to keep the white medical envelope result as that was his copy he can open.. He than gave her all the ds forms and affidavit , police certific, birth certificate. He got over excited and took out all our emails and facebook chats hahahah and handed to her and she said "no no no dont need those" after that he was instructed to go pay the 80$ fee and go do his finger print. It was his first time doing it and he said that for some reason he press so hard it maded a error in thier system hhahahah. After that they insist him to have a seat and they will call him up for his final interview.
Finally after 3 hours of waiting.. he was called up and the consular who was a white american guy probably in his mid 30 took his interview. He said it was a very easy communication interview between them. The consular just ask him the basic questions.
How we met?
what i do for a living ?
who is co-sponsor?
how he propose to me?
My fiance was talking soo much about our relationship that there was already so many information in his mind that we are in love for sure. After about sometime he said everything looks good and he said congratulations you are approve, you will recieve visa within 3 days , and he issue the Blue sheet and on the box that said "other" he wrote the name of the site we were suppose to go and register a account to recieve the visa. I thought it was for AP but he never mention anything about AP.. But one thing i dont get is that why does it look like everyone esle from abu dhabi was able to go pick up the visa and my fiance was asking him that he wants to come and pick it up but the consulate said no need we will send it thru post and you can go recieve it at the post office of your choice after you register online. Was this the reason for a 221g ??

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
