Embassy Review : Marina had her interview , at 8 a.m. on 10/21/2011. She arrived at around 7:30 a.m. and got in line, there was about 70 to 100 people waiting, once the doors open, women with children were allowed in first and sent to their specific areas depending on the type of visa. Once in the embassy she was sent to a window where all documentation was turned into an embassy official; there were about 6 pepople interviewing for the K1 visa. After a short wait she was interviewed by a gentleman which she described as pleasent and polite, she did her interview in english. During the interview she was asked how we met, why she wanted to marry me?, what did she like the most about me? etc...she showed the embassy officer some emails and pictures and basic proof of our relationship. The interview lasted only about five minutes and she walked out with an approval and a positive experience.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
