Embassy Review : |
On July 18, 2011 my husband and I arrived at the embassy at 6:30am for our 7am interview. We were about the 6th person in line. At about 7am they let us in
the first doors. The first gentlemen we encountered asked for all the evience we had, but only took our phone records,he gave us a number and told us to go to the right. We were the fourth persons to be called. The consulate officer ask for picture I only had our wedding album, it was too big to be put thru the glass so I held it up and turned the pages for her. these are the questions asked.
Who is that gentleman in the picture?
my father.
Who else from your family attendedthe wedding?
my mother,sisters,nephew, cousin, uncles.
Who took the pictures was it professional?
no a friend who takes pictures at our local church.
O who is that doing your make up?
a girl from a local spa in our district I can't even remember her name.
o you had bridesmaides, how many people attended your wedding?
about 100.
Why don't you have a detailed phone bill?
because I just call by husband to tell him to call me I use phone cards and he uses digecell pay as you go.
They asked my husband have you ever been arrested? no. Have you ever traveled to the US? no. ok visa approved
Iam upset because the only thing they asked to see was pictures and its the same pictures my husband brought and showed them on the 21st of june but he was denied. But no man can stop Gods plan and its Gods will for me and my husband to be together just waiting one the visa they say one week.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
