Embassy Review : |
So, had the interview Oct 18th at the Embassy in Brussels... Got in there, 2pm, passed the securitycheck (easy) and went inside. Got myself a number, and waited for my number to display and walked myself to the counter. The lady was very nice, asked me for some documents and later she called me back to her window. I had one missing document. The Joint-Sponsor birthcertificate.. I completely fell out of the sky, I was totally clueless! Even though I had a missing document, she send me over to the Consul anyway. Had a smooth talk with him, simple question about how we met, when we decided to get married, had to show him some pictures and he asked me easy questions... Very relaxed and smooth, he cracked some jokes, he was easy going.. No worries! At the end of the interview he said I had that document missing, and to get it to him by next Tuesday (24Oct) and said 'than you should be fine' ... Hopefully that means approval... He did keep my passport and the whole file... We'll see what happens in a few days... I'll keep you posted! |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
