Had our interview at the ASC office in Grand Junction,CO and it was a very smooth one. The IO just asked for my full name, birthday, address, cel no. and some of the questions on the I-485 form. Then she asked my husband how we met. After that, she began asking for our pics. She looked satisfied! :) And she asked for bank statements, life insurance with me as the beneficiary and the lease agreement. The interview only took like 5 minutes and she told us that she's going to approve us and she explained about the ROC and that to start compiling the documents. Only about 4 hours, I received a text and e-mail confirmation that they had registered my new permanent resident status. Felt so relieved! God made everything work out according to His plan! To God be the glory! |

The airport is pretty big. It may be a lil confusing for a first timer like me but I didn't hesitate to ask the guards for direction. They're pretty helpful.
Questions asked:
1. Name of my fiance
2. His job
3. What am I here for? of course to be with my fiance and to marry him (does that need to be asked anyway?) lol!
4. When are we gonna get married?
So far,it was a good experience. Not to mention the jetlag.Ugh. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
