Consulate Review: Bangkok, Thailand
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 20, 2011
Embassy Review : She arrived at 0600 and exited the embassy at 1015. She said the lady who interviewed her was nice and interviewed her for about 15 minutes. After everything was done, she told my fiance that she could pick up her visa on April 25th after 1500. She also reminded her that we must marry with 90 days after entering the US (which we already knew).
Rating : Very Good

Local US CIS Office Review: Chula Vista CA

Event Description
Review Date : July 21, 2015
Embassy Review : I arrived 20 minutes early. it was an easy and fast process checking in at the check in window. I was greeted with a smile.
At 10 o'clock, I got called in and was also greeted with a smile by the interviewing officer. He was very pleasant and understood that I was a little nervous. He processed to go over my application. We chatted for a few minutes about Thailand and even mentioned that him and his wife visited Thailand and enjoyed it. He made me feel comfortable and help me with my nerves. He asked me to read: "How many senators are there?". Then, he asked me to write: "There are 100 senators." He asked me 6 civics questions and told me that I was approved and that I should receive notification about my ceremony date. I was done in less than 30 minutes.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
