Embassy Review : Hi VJ'ers hope this post will contribute some help for your interview.

I have my interview last Aug 8, 2011 at 6:30am.

Of course we line up outside embassy and around 6:15 we get in. Got the nummber from the ticket booth then drop the apointment letter at window 39 with the number those entrance staff gave.

Wait for my number to appear qeuing monitor then I was called at window 54. He is a Filipino CO in his 30's. He approach well and he has the following questions:

1. State your name nad birth date.
2. How did you meet your husband?
3. Does he has kids?
4. How old his kids?
5. How old is my husband and how old I am.
6. Do you have wedding pics and other evidence of relationship? I said yes and he said ok just keep it there and in case the American CO will ask for it just show them.
7. What is your husband source of income?
8. Have you travelled outside Phil before?
The he said ok just wait for your number appear for final interview (American CO).

About 30 minutes my nunber appear again and woman American CO assigned in my case. She is kinda chubby and pretty. She let me raise my right hand and swear for the honesty oath. Her questions are:

1. How old are you?
2. How did you meet your husband? Through common friend
3. How did you and him meet that common friend?
4. what is his source of income?
5. Is his kids still living with him?
6. Where did his kids live?
7. have you travelled outside Phil before? yes
8. WHEN/where did u get married?
9.. How many guest you have on your wedding?
10. Can I see your wedding pictures?I gave her the wedding pictures she watch those pics and return it to me. This wedding pics are the only thing she ask from me. I have all the documents possibly needed but she did not ask for it so I just keep it.

Then she said your visa approve and wait for the other window for more info.

And yes I am approve. Hubby and I very happy.

Thanks God we will be together soon.

The whole experience is nice. That Filipino and American CO are very nice. We have a very normal conversation I answer all their questions calmly and honestly and of course with all the confidence.

Good luck guys!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
