Overall experience was absolutely great! Although I could not physically be inside the interview with my fiance, I did fly there to give him moral support. I wouldn't miss it for the world. We are a team and we do everything together! I had to wait across the street from the U.S. Embassy at a little cafeteria during the meantime. His Interview was scheduled at 10:30 am, we arrived at 10 am. He was out of there by 12 pm. They first collected his documents and fee, and then he waited until they called him to go to his interview room. The consulate was very professional! He asked him about a series of 8-10 questions and it didn't last anymore than ten minutes. *Honesty is a huge key factor during the interview! The staff there are very efficient and helpful! He had his interview September 20, 2011 and as soon as he was finished with the interview the consulate gave him a small pink slip with a stamp saying to come in the following Wednesday, September 28th between 3-4pm to pick up his visa and passport. We stayed in Beirut for 6 days, first two days to prepare our paperwork and last 4 days celebrating! We stayed at Bliss 3000 hotel, and had a wonderful experience as well! On a side note, we highly recommend if you are going to Lebanon to book with Bliss 3000. Moreover, the day my fiance picked up his passport he was handled a packet and was informed to NOT open the packet under any circumstance, this packet is to be handed when you arrive in the U.S. to Customs and Immigration. Finally my sweetheart is coming home to me! Best news ever, I can't stop wiping this smile off my face!!! :D |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
