Comments : I have to say i waited for this day for a long time.I was the first to arrive at the us embassy at 6:30am It was dark and rainy out side. The next person (a man) arrive at about 7am.At first i though i was at the wrong place' but a few min later a couple and another man arrive. They were all from Vancouver. After that the line started to form. The door to the embassy opened at 8:00am. I handed my passport and interview letter to the agent at the door. I was then waved in and asked to empty all my pockets. (the process is just like at the airport, removing your belt and all electronic devices. Just a note a USB is also consider an electronic device.) Not to worry if you brought your cell or car keys with the remote it is place in a cubby and you are given a number to claim it after the screening process is completed.I was then told to follow the yellow arrows ( which leads to downstairs were i am to wait beside the elevator.Aprox. 15min after waiting we were ushered into the elevator and exited on the 19th floor( try to the first on in the elevator and go to the back of it because the elevator door will open on the other side. ( the door you enter in the elevator is not the door you exit with when you reach the 19th floor). After i reach the 19 floor i was the 5th in line to receive a number.(Please pay attention to the monitor for your number) When my number called (via the monitor) I was greeted by a gentleman who ask me for my number interview letter, medical package, passport and any new photos. I was then finger printed. First with my left hand by placing my four finger of my left hand (minus the thumb) on the little green florescent screen then my right then my two thumbs). I then was asked to return to the waiting room and wait to be call. Five mins. later i was call to a second booth were i was greeted by a woman who ask me to look over the DS-230 to see if its in order and then sign part II.I returned to the waiting area for the 3rd time and within 5 min i was call to the booth were i met another lady with long dreads and very soft spoken. she ask me 5 questions.

1. were did i meet my husband?
2.when did i physical meet him?
3.is this my first marriage?
4. were dose he work?
5. What dose he do?

She then handed me a sheet of paper and ask me if i have DHL service.Of course i did not answer right away. She then realize that i did not know that the interview was terminated. She then said " you got approve for the visa" I said thank you. and told her i do have DHL service. In all it took 1 1/2 hour from start to finish. I left the us embassy at 9:20am I brought a lot of documents with me but i did not need then. I was not ask to show any pictures or any proof of communication between my husband and myself. port of entry to be on dec.12 2011 yeah

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
