For those of you about to have your interview, GOOD LUCK! Packet 4 instructions not to show up earlier than twenty minutes before your interview appointment was correct. I showed up at five after eight for an eight thirty and there was no problem. No need to line up at the crack of dawn and I was out by nine forty five. Also...proof of support. You need more than just pay stubs. They want an income tax return. We missed that. I almost peed my pants when the interviewer said that was missing. She was very nice though and approved me, but she asked how they could be sure of fiance's salary. I told her to multiply the pay stub by 26! She smiled. She was very nice. The longest part is giving your documents to the cashier lady. Interview was very easy. Again...good luck everyone. |

Dorval international aiport official did not give me a Form 94, told me I did not need it. WRONG! Make sure you insist on one if you go through this airport. You need it for Social Security. I had to file a 102 with my AOS. The border official's name was Mr FINK. Honestly! How fitting! |

I did not have an interview, but was invited to a USCIS focus group as they are revising their process. If you are invited to one, GO. The group met on March 3, and three weeks later I was approved for a green card. Not sure their is a connection, but what have you got to lose? As a reward, they take your email address and look into your status to see where it is. They cant change anything, or even ask to hurry it along, but I find the coincidence of going to the focus group and receiving my green card three weeks later interesting. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
