Embassy Review : |
I got to the Embassy at 12.45 pm.
There where like 20 ppl in the waiting room
5 min after i took my number, I got called to the first booth : Took the number, cut it in half, took my convocation letter and checked my passport
1 hour and a half later, I got called to the same booth : She was very nice. Asked for all the papers, joked about how they give the 2kg Chronopost letters stuffing for those who wanna change their babies, and told me how lucky I am to live in Dinard :P
30 min later, I got called by the consul : very serious old lady. She asked me 100 questions :
- I assume you speak English?
- Where did you meet
- What does your fiance do for living
- What does his job title mean
- What do I do for a living
- Who supports me
- Where are we gonna have the wedding
- Are my parents coming to the wedding
- What does my parents do for a living (O.O)
And then started to tell me about the AoS and about having to leave France in less then 6 month, and getting married in 90 days
She didn't say "Congratz you got approved", but she kept my passport and Chronopost envelope and said "If all goes well, you will get your visa in 7 to 10 days"
I said "Thank you, have a nice day" ![](smile.gif) |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
