Comments : I waitted until the last possible minute to send my AOS application, it was 2 months before my k3 was going to expire. We thought we were not going to make it. I thought I was going to loose my job, etc, etc. But I was amazed of how fast everything was done...a little more than 2 months! and I received my green card without conditions because I have been married more than 3 years and in the USA for 2 years...so I saved a lot of money because I will not have to go to the process of removing conditions in 2 years......good luck to everybody!

Event Description
Review Date : August 6, 2007
Embassy Review : It was really fast. I went there with my husband and our daughter (9 months old at the time) The consul called me and I went to her office. She asked me how did Don and I met, when and the date we got married. Then she asked the copy of our baby birth certificate. She also asked if this was our first marriage and if we had other kids. First marriage for both, first kid for both...and that was it. She did not want to see pictures, or even interview my husband. We left and 2 weeks later I received my letter, few days later my greencard!!!! No conditions!!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
