Comments : 12.50 pm arrive to 20 people in front of me a slow process to get in the door, in and called up had all my forms and supplied all I could until the pictures,I had the wrong type,so do go by the form and size on it. had some issues with affidavif of support but after four of them debating all the extra information I supplied I got your approved but to late in the day so have to call tomorrom and arrange to pick it up thursday afternoon :-).. totla time from start to finish 3 hours 45 mins. Overall not bad but the longest afternoon I spent, I brought every thing filled and knew where everything was.. and they didn't ask for anything I taught they'd ask for, so check and check again u have everything they ask for, and every document copy at least twice birth certs included.. now to wrap thing up here and plan my exit, will update when my heads clearer and have the visa in my actual hands..

Collected the visa's today at i.30 pm got packs to give to immigrations at point of entry too :-) been a long year now the packing starts..

Port of Entry : JFK
POE Date : 2008-10-13 Submit Review
Got EAD Stamp : Yes,Passport Stamp
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Was a long line and found officers very friendly... was worried about my bags been left alone as I was in line so long but officer just said be more worried about process and get approved. Sent to a room asked a couple of questions and told I could go to my connecting flight.. I asked for the ead stamp and was told it was already in my passport :-). So flying the long way using JFK as first point of entry is a bonus in the process.

Comments : Had interview at 3 pm in seattle we where called in and asked when where we married where did we honeymoon, how come we don't have a joint bank account. Wanted to see bills with both names on them. Wanted to see marraige cert and my passport etc. Asked did we ever disagree etc. He seemed to be just asking the questions and ticking boxes. said he wasn't sure and asked us to wait outside while he reviewed the case to see if he would be able to approve our case.. We sat and waiting and chatted, after a while he came out and said the case was approved. :-) and told us that because we were married less than 2 years we would have to file a I-751 form 90 days before the 2 year anniversary of this interview to remove conditions. Had us worried for a while but the notice tells you what to bring and just bring what it says and anything you feel might be of benifit to prove your living together. :-) Hope this is of help to someone out there, be calm and what have you to worry about"your telling the truth".

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
