Member Reviews:

Consulate Review: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 10, 2023
Embassy Review : My fiancee went to the interview. All documents were collected and reviewed.

Interview was about 5 mins long.

Questions asked:

Have you ever had issues with the authorities?
How did you meet?
When was the last time he visited?
Have you ever traveled to another country.

She got approved, with God's belssing.

Quick Important Note: The K1-Visa Brazil consulate website says that the " Marriageable Statement Form" should only be signed during the interview. They gathered all the documents before my fiancée went to the interview, so she didn't have anything with her during the actual interview. In other words, even though the website says to only sign the documents during the interview, you should probably sign it beforehand. They told my fiancée she had to have it signed already. Very confusing, but just a heads up.
Rating : Very Good

Hello EdwinShinobi, May I ask you If you have received your visa yet? I did my interview in RIO on April 06 last week and didn't received my visa yet, got approved by the consular but the CEAC web site is showing "REFUSED". May I ask you if yours is showing the same? BTW congrats!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
