Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Crossed at the White Rock, BC / Blaine, WA land crossing with my car. Was there for maybe 45 mins. The officer only asked how I met my fiancé and when. Then processed my forms and imported my car. Canadians don’t have to pay duty on their vehicles as per the treaty we have with the USA. No one searched my car at all, only double checked the VIN. I also only needed my vehicle registration, bill of sale and my letter of compliance from Nissan Canada. Extremely easy process. I had extra forms filled out for the vehicle that I had read that I needed but ended up not needing at all!

Hey! was there any July slots left?
Katherinakjeremy on 2019-06-07 said:
The fact that August is open, does that mean July is full?
Katherinakjeremy on 2019-06-07 said:
did you wait for p3 before you sent it?
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-06-08 said:
@Katherinakjeremy6 I waited for my status on the CEAC to update as Ready twice then sent in my P3, no I had not received p3 yet. There were only August dates available on Wednesdays when I booked my interview this morning.

Well if they didnt ask you for it, so you should worry, since every country have it's own requirements, mine for it,till I didnt send them they didnt allow me to schedule the interview, so double check, you can always email and ask them

@Samfar 92 Sorry, I didn't realize you are from a different country! Haha, my bad! We got the IRS tax transcripts online this evening so I don't need to stress anymore. Thank you so much for the heads up!

Hey Congrats! What was the interview like?
blank avatar StephanieB on 2019-09-02 said:
@KenandBina thank you! The interview was a breeze! As long as you have everything that the check lists on here say and are organized you won't have any issues. The lady at the window that asked me questions was unbelievably nice as well. She only asked me a few questions, such as what my fiance does for work, where we met, when we met and where we intend to live. My appointment was at 7:30am, I arrived at 6:45am and there was one person in front of me. I was all done by 9am. Good luck!

Hey, Our cases are very similar (both Canadian and living in Seattle) and I just have a question. Did you get your interview letter for you AOS? I thought that the wait was more like a year and a half with the Seattle office but I got an interview letter today for an interview at the end of Feb, just wondering what your experience is.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
