Hi. Congrats on being approved! Sorry to jump on your timeline but looks like we were on a similar schedule so was hoping I could ask you a couple of questions.. The last info I received was when my fiancé spoke with the NVC a week ago and they gave us our case# beginning with LND and they said the have forwarded it to the London consulate. We are still yet to receive a letter from the NVC or from the consulate in London with further info. Can you go ahead and fill out the DS-160 form online and schedule your medical etc if you only have the case# but no letter? How did it work for you? We want to do everything by the book but it’s taking so long. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated Thanks Alan

Omg sorry I didn’t see this until now. Probably already know but yes you can schedule medical when u have case number without letter. We did the medical a week before the interview. Check everyday for cancellations for both and you will get one. Our interview date was 18th of December but got a cancellation for December 3rd. After the interview we received the visa 8 days later. When you go for your interview they will ask when u want to be in USA. Say something around 10 days and they will process it quicker. Best of luck

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
