Thank you for your updates and best wishes on the interview! I see that the NVC processed your case pretty quickly. Was there something you did perhaps to get your DS-261 quickly or was it just pure luck? Thanks!

Thank you! I have a lawyer. As you see my son petitioned for me and I did not trust that he would look out for the mail...I felt more secure getting a lawyer. But yes! Everything has been going very quickly...my son is US citizen by birth. We called NVC after my I130 was approved every week..they kept saying 8wks was surprised when we got the case number and invoice number at 5wks. It went quickly after that. Once you are able to pay fees have your civil documents ready and complete DS260 as soon as accessible. I wish you all the best!

Thank you for your reply. I will keep calling nvc then. Hopefully I can get the case number soon.

Congratulations on your approval! I’m sure it is a big relief. I have one more question. I see that your interview date got rescheduled to an earlier date than what was originally set. How did you manage to get it moved? Thanks

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
