Local US CIS Office Review: Montgomery AL

Event Description
Review Date : July 24, 2020
Embassy Review : I had my interview July 23rd, 2020 at 8 a.m.
Because of the COVID-19 situation you are only allowed to be there 15 minutes prior to your appointment. When I arrived there was only a couple waiting outside (?), I walked in and was the first one to be checked in. The waiting time to be called was like 15 minutes, there were like 7 or 8 more applicants at the office with me.
The guard was a little rude while giving instructions on where to sit (not to me though). They are doing all the social distancing stuff with the chairs and you need to wear a mask to be allowed into the building. My husband was not allowed in.
The office is very small but clean and bright, although it is located in a very weird area of the city,
The interview was super fast, it is difficult to hear through the masks, but we all gotta make it work because COVID-19 is not going anywhere any time soon.
They said the OATH Ceremony will be held outside (parking area).
Overall it was good...
Harassment Level : Good

Hi Kronina. Congratulations on passing your naturalization interview. I just have a question if you dont mind. I was interviewed at USCIS Montgomery on july 24th for my naturalization. Id like to ask how long till you got your oath taking ceremony scheduled? Because until now i have not received my scheduled ceremony yet and you just did your interview two days before mine. Hoping you would response. Thank you

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
