Comments : Interview:
Went in quickly as I was the first that day.
I sorted my papers in order then I was called to a window. I submitted the papers and answered some basic questions. My fingerprints were also taken.
I waited for around another 20 minutes then I was called into the interview room. I was asked few more questions then as well. Given that my husband also lived in Lebanon they requested to provide additional documents that prove that he will be returning to the US at the same time as I am.
My passport was returned and I was given instructions on how to send the papers.
Everyone was very friendly and nice.

Comments : Entry into the US - Chicago:
Waited in line as any other visa. Once we got to the officer he took my folder and then asked me to follow him. Another officer was processing the Immigration visas. They asked me and my husband to wait. While there were so many other people waiting as well, we thought we were going to wait for hours, but we were called 10 minutes later. The officer handed me my stamped passport and told me I'm good to go!

Nashville interview. My appointment was at 9.30. Went in and there was only another person there. We waited for 15 minutes or so and then an agent gave us a number. in another 15-20 minutes we were called in. I went to the back for my interview, the agent was nice, he asked the usual questions, the civics questions and English test. I was approved and then given the sheet for the oath ceremony on the same day at 2pm.
At 2pm there were around 12 people. Around 2.10 the agent came out and called us into the room, by 2.30 we had taken the oath!
Very smooth and very friendly staff.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
