Consulate Review: Switzerland
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 3, 2014
Embassy Review : We arrived to the park like everyone else on 04/28/2014, we waited 2 hours. Then they informed my fiancé he was not on the list. So I went to the showed my passport to the security directed me to the gate. When I had to wait for 1-2 in the sun. Because I was not let in the gate. So I was upset they called the head consulate officer he apologized for what happen gave him my case information. They he left for 10 minutes with a pass and list that they had change my fiancée interview for April 24th without any notification. But he want ahead and gave me an interview April 29th at 8:00 a.m. so we arrived the next day did not wait in line went straight to the gate and they took our paper work and we paid for the visa they went in another room, waited for 10 minutes then we were called up. He swore under oath then was asked about our relationship how we meet? When we decided to get married? and he asked me where did I leave ? Where do I work? He was very nice and helpful. Then he gave us his a paper for him to pick up his Visa cause it was approved
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
