My fiance went early from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, luckily she was the first in line. She waited on the non immigrant line, however she was told to stand in the immigrant line. There was not a lot of people but people started pouring in by 7.30 am.
After the security check, the guard reviewed the letter and the passport and then my fiance went inside. Once inside at the counter, they gave her a ticket and asked for what kind of visa and then she was given a number.
After waiting, her number was called and then she proceeded to an a lady, who was a bit rude. After that she asked for all the original forms and copies of all documents(Please see below review for the right documents as we followed that order). For my fiance, they asked for the originals and copies separately, however she put all of them together and she gave one by one. So after sorting out the documents, she gave back my fiance her passport and told her to go to the cashier to pay the fee. Since she was the first, there was no line. The cashier was also a bit rude(she wanted exact change, which my fiance didn\'t have).
After making the payment, she went back to the original lady and she was given a token number asked to go the counter for fingerprint. There was a nice american lady who spoke really sweetly.
After that, she was asked to keep the token and wait for the number to be called. After 10 minutes her number was called. We expected it would be a an american lady from the reviews that we read, however we realized we were wrong when a nice american man showed up. He directed her to a room for the interview.
My fiance first took the oath, and then he asked her some questions like,
What do you do?
What does your father do?
How did you meet?
Have you been to the US?
When did you get engaged?
How long have your fiance been there?
How did he migrate?
What is your petitioner name?(this was out of no where)
Where does he stay?
Will your parents be able to make it to the wedding?
Then at the end, he said everything looks fine BUT(which scared my fiance, since she saw him take a blue slip and about to return the passport).
He said that I do not make enough to sponsor my fiance looking at the tax forms of 2011. I joined in Nov 2011 and my true wages were in my 2012 W-2 which I thankfully sent her a week before. However, he did not see the W-2 and was about to give us the slip for additional co sponsor. But my fiance was absolutely sure that I make more way more then the minimum required and she was polite to point out the date of the new job and the letter from the employer along with my 2012 W-2. Once the CO found that, he said sorry and said everything looks fine. He said Its approved. After that he said you have to register on this site for the visa delivery, however my fiance told him that she already did it. At this time, he said wow you are already ahead of us. Then he said your visa would be ready within a week or even less.
After that, she left with a big sigh of relief and said Thank you and she was out of the consulate by 9:15.
Good luck to all, it was a relatively easy process because we were prepared 
My advice would be send your fiance the W-2's for the year because that seems to be more convincing then the employer letter.
Finally, God answer our prayers and we can't wait for each other to be together.
