I printed any and every piece of evidence I could find and sent to the Ghana myself. Went with my fiancee on her interview date but I was not allowed to enter. I then gave my passport to my fiancee to show the consular that she came with her fiancee who is waiting outside. she said the consular asked her where her fiance was and after showing my passport she told the consular that I was outside waiting for her. Consular said that's ok. Went through the evidence submitted and not much after that. Visa approved and picked up about a week later.	2010-03-22

My US Senator's office is involved now. Update: Senator Hagan came through and we have the packet. 1-15-2010 Date for visa pickup rescheduled by consulate to 01-29-2010. I have Sen. Hagan's office trying to cut through the red tape if they can. Tickets have already been purchased. Visa received on 1-29-2009.	2010-01-31

We were approved the same day of the interview, but couldn't pick it up for three weeks. The transit visa took an additional week since the cheapest flight he found was through Germany. So really, it took a month and 2 days for him to arrive after visa approval - we were hoping it would take just 3 days!	2010-01-02

When Ibrahim got to the Embassy, he was told that his name was not on the list, then told it was on the list, finally told that it was not on the list and that he should contact the Embassy via email for a date. We followed up with the Embassy and they said that he did not show up for the interview so his date has returned to 8/4. Ibrahim later found out from others who received the same call he received, regarding rescheduling of their interview, that some of them had the same experience he had. Oh well. It was a nice possibility, but, it is still all in God's hands.	2009-10-22
