It was effortless (I went to the airport 3 hours before my flight and it was not busy at all). I approached US Border & Customs, talked to the main officer there who saw my packet. I told him I was coming in on a K1 visa, he asked me when we plan on getting married and reminded me of the 90 day rule. He took my packet, my boarding pass, and passport. He then walked me to secondary which is an area to the left behind glass doors. Inside, he brought me to another officer and instructed him to do my K1 admittance. I was instructed to sit down on some chairs that were away from the desk. During this time the officer opened my packet and filled out forms. I did not get to see anything of what was in my packet (I was curious!!). All that I was asked of me from this officer was when I planned on getting married, how many checked bags I had, and if I had any food to declare. He stamped my passport with my admittance stamp, and asked me if I had any questions. I had a couple questions about minor details and he answered each one. He then took a photocopy of my visa and told me that was everything! Easy peasy! Everyone was friendly and courteous. I checked my I-94 record 10 minutes later and it was already updated with my K1 entry! | 2024-04-19 | |||
